Kinner & Co. Dance Studio Inc., under the direction of Kathy Kinner, provides quality dance instruction for the pre-school student through the advanced student. The abilities of each dancer are nurtured in an atmosphere of positive motivation, self discipline and individual attention. Dance is a beautiful, compelling, and illuminating art form which stimulates thought and explores the wonders of human nature. Kinner & Co. dance teachers seek to enrich the lives of the students through valuable social interaction, the joy of creative expression and the sense of physical accomplishment found only in the study of dance.
Kinner & Co. Dance Studio Inc. is the premier dance education studio in the Springfield area. We are located on the north side of Springfield, Illinois and easily accessed from I-55 and State Route 54 for our widely located clientele. We offer classes for children ages 3 and up and consider our teaching methods to be the perfect blend of education and enjoyment. We offer instruction in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Poms and Tumbling.
Kinner & Co. dance students have performed at Six Flags, on Celebrity and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and they performed at Disney World this summer. They have attended dance conventions and competed in numerous competitions. Individual students have won scholarships to regional and national dance conventions. They perform for civic organizations including Children’s Miracle Network, Festival of Trees, and numerous nursing homes.
Our students learn the proper techniques of the various disciplines of dance, while enjoying the performing and competition aspects of dance. In a loving atmosphere, encouraged by the teachers, other students, and the parents of our studio, we make students and their families welcome!
